Dr. Padmaja Gorantla

Founder & Clinical Director

Dr. Padmaja Gorantla is an internationally trained physician with medical qualifications from India and the United Kingdom. She completed her undergraduate medical training at Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences and postgraduate training in dermatology in India, before undertaking further postgraduate training in dermatology at Cardiff University.

After relocating to Nova Scotia, Dr. Gorantla founded Pagora with a singular focus: to bring the standards of a specialist dermatology practice to the Bedford community — evidence-based, clinically rigorous, and inclusive of all skin types.

TRAINING

M.B.B.S from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences; postgraduate training in dermatology in India; followed by postgraduate training in dermatology at Cardiff University, UK.

PRACTICE

Over a decade of clinical experience treating patients across all Fitzpatrick skin types — with a particular focus on laser safety for darker skin tones that many clinics underserve.

APPROACH

Every consultation begins with a thorough skin assessment. Dr. Gorantla provides written treatment plans and never recommends a procedure unless it is clinically appropriate.
